Voices of Diabetes

I have experienced "invisibility," even from this Web site. My family doesn't understand, my friends don't get it. I feel as if I am on my own--invisible.

I tested at a restaurant recently and the persons at the booth behind me AND the waitress all beeped and made fun of me. My husband doesn't even seem concerned, because I make this look so easy.

Maybe I should make it look hard and FAIL to get some care and attention! You do this badly and you die, you do this well and you are invisible because it looks good.
