Voices Of Diabetes

Voices of Diabetes

It was devastating to me to find out that I had diabetes. There was something on the inside that would not let me claim this disease when the doctor said, "It's in your family." I replied, "Just because it runs in my family, doesn't mean that I have to get it."

It's been very hard coping with diabetes. I wake up every morning with a headache and bad nausea that sometimes keeps me in bed all day. I thank God, because He's been helping me through all of this. Everybody I know is helping me stay on track by making sure I take my medicine and that I'm eating the right foods. I thank God for the people in my life, because they're praying for me as well as helping me to cope with diabetes.

I claim in the Name of Jesus that I will be off this medication soon!
