Voices Of Diabetes

Voices of Diabetes

I actually self-diagnosed my diabetes. When I was tested by my physician (01-07), my blood glucose (sugar) was sky-high. Since then, I have faithfully taken my medication, watched my diet, and workout 4 to 5 times per week (mostly cardio). I also joined a weight-loss program (you buy the food), but was seeing little results in terms of weight loss.

Last week, I managed to get a cold, lost my appetite, and lost about 2 pounds. How nice. I need to lose about 60 pounds, and with the medications I'm on, it seems to be a no-win battle.  However, I am trying to persevere and keep a positive attitude. I am my own manager. No family. I DO have a strong faith in God, and I know if I continue to do my part, good things will happen.

Find something to chuckle about, and laugh out loud. It is good for you.
