Voices of Diabetes

I have problems with pain in my feet and take a medication for it.  I wear specially fitted shoes and insoles, but still have pain. So, my mobility is limited.

I think the pain would decrease if I could keep in better control of my blood glucose (sugar) and if I could lose more weight.  I think it's a one-day-at-a-time thing.  Even though I have days when I don't get out and move, I also have some days when I really surprise myself and push myself to walk--even though I have fears that it will hurt.  It often does hurt, but I live through it.
