Yes, I too was frightened to death by giving myself an injection. It took me 3 months of depending on my husband, family and friends before I finally bit the bullet. I felt sorry for myself and was really hating this whole mess. But I have never been one to depend on someone else for help so I knew I must learn to move forward and take charge of my responsibility. I am now doing fine with giving myself injections and hope you are as well. We can do what becomes necessary. I can't complain. My heart goes out to the parents and their young children who suffer with type 1 diabetes.
