Voices of Diabetes

I have just started insulin therapy less than a week ago. I am also so confused and scared. I’m not sure how and when to eat. I was hospitalized for DKA and was sent home from the hospital on insulin. I am so overwhelmed with questions and concerns. I have an appointment in a few days at a Diabetes research center. So for anyone else going through what I am going through there is support out there for us, we just need to utilize it. The hospital I was in set everything up for me at this clinic. They called a few days after I was released and set up the appointment for me.
