Voices of Diabetes

I received a letter from my clinic informing me that my doctor of internal medicine/diabetes is leaving the clinic. I have felt so down because of that. She has been my doctor for over 12 years or more. She truly has been the "Wind Beneath My Wings.” She has seen me through much, and I could always get ahold of her if needed.

This has been a major blow to me, and yet I am going to go on and I will work harder than ever to stay on track. When I went in for my check up a month ago, my A1C was great and my tests came back very good. I have kidney disease as well and I was only functioning at about 35% between both kidneys. This time all my tests came back looking much better. So, I just want to tell all of you out there that there is light at the end of this tunnel. Keep your chin up, and pray to your higher power for that miracle. I asked God for one, and that I would even share a miracle with someone else. This I believe is my miracle. God Bless all of you, and keep smiling.
