Voices of Diabetes

I am a sales person, so the introduction of the insulin pens has been wonderful. With the pen, I can take my shot while sitting at a meeting, running to the restroom, or while at dinner ... instead of having to worry about carrying the bottle and syringe with me.

The insulin pen offers ease of injection in a very discreet way. I thought of going for the inhaler, but it is so big and bulky that the pen wins out. It is very hard to take shots when you use the syringe, but with the insulin pen, it's as easy as 1,2,3. It's so simple, I've even taken my shots in the car. The insulin pen goes with me everywhere. It fits in my purse and is not bulky.

The pen technique has brought me more freedom to take care of my diabetes.
