The greatest solution to diabetes is the insulin pump. It allowed me to maintain a lower A1C and feel better while doing it. For me, it was a life saver.

I'm using the manual pump that maintains a set basal level for each 12-hour period and also allows me to take my blood sugar (glucose) data and decide how much to add as a bolus during and after meals.

The fact that it continuously feeds a known level is its real secret--it's almost like having a mechanical pancreas that keeps things lower continuously.

A coworker's husband says the same thing--it is a life saver and made the management of diabetes much easier and more successful.
