Voices of Diabetes

I know how difficult it is to keep it together, seeing other people eating and drinking without thinking about anything but the fun of it all. But for those of us who have to check our blood sugar (glucose) levels and take a shot just to stay ahead of the game, wanting to be "normal" sometimes takes over for a while. But if we realize that we are different — if we could only grasp it — we are not alone. We are part of a family where there are others in the same boat. So, let's row together. That way, we will get there together.
