Voices of Diabetes

I have no support from family, except for my husband. He stands by me through everything. Plus, my therapist. He wants me to join a support group here, and I told him they are only for type 2 diabetics, not type 1. He couldn't believe it. 

I am trying real hard to control my blood sugar (glucose) better, because I got a kidney transplant on January 2, 2006. I need all the support that I can get. My family doesn't care what happens to me.
